Itineraries: Top Ways to See The Big 7

There are several ways to explore the Big 7, all of which depend on how many days you are spending in Cape Town and how much time you have to spend at each destination.

Remember that both the Robben Island Ferry and Table Mountain Cableway operations are weather dependent, so check the forecast and their operating status and head there first if the weather looks set to change. All other attractions are open rain or shine.

There is no one way to explore all of the Cape Town Big 7, and much of what makes each of them so special is the variety of things to see and do at each. So if possible, take your time to explore each of the city’s most visited tourist attractions in as much depth as possible – as any local will tell you, you can spend a lifetime at each of the Big 7 and still not tire of them.
